On July 9, Guo Jianquan, the CPC Committee Deputy Secretary and the General Manager of Poly SinoLight, the Deputy General Managers Ren Jianping and Tong Yunxiang, and the President Chen Rongrong of Haisum went to Wuhan with Chen Huibin, the Chief Engineer of China Tobacco Hubei Industrial LLC. and Wang Kang, the Director of Investment Management Department and other leaders for discussions and exchanges.
During the discussion, both parties made thorough communication on the current implementation of the three EPC projects undertaken by Haisum. Chen Huibin said that at this stage, the three projects has successfully entered the capping and finalization phases, believing that the Haisum team could successfully complete the task with professional service and comprehensive technical strength and hand the projects over with satisfaction. Guo Jianquan expressed his gratitude for the trust of the Owner, the China Tobacco Hubei. He stressed that the tobacco industry is the professional advantageous field in the light industry system and the three projects undertaken by Haisum are all major projects greatly underlined by Poly SinoLight this year. The project team in line with "being responsible to the Party, to the Owner, to the project and to the history" must live up to its mission and build them into high-quality and popular projects according to high standards and requirements. Both parties also recapped the history of the joint development of the tobacco industry and light industry and agreed that at the new development stage, the two parties must strengthen cooperation and make concerted efforts to promote the digital transformation and high-quality development of the enterprise.
Later, Guo and his delegation arrived at the project site of Yellow Crane Tower Cigarette Packaging and Printing Auxiliary Material Industrial Park to inspect the construction progress on the spot, listen to the project schedule report and digital display of the project outcomes, having a cordial discussion with all the staff of the project department and making important instructions for construction progress, risk prevention and control, safety and quality. Guo emphasized that it is necessary to give full play to the advantages of the project’s joint construction of Party building, improve team cohesion and combat effectiveness to complete the project with a focus on quality and quantity; it is necessary to fully coordinate, maintain and handle the relationship with the Owner, consortium members and participating units to further strengthen and improve management efficiency through information technology; through this project, it is necessary to build an "iron army" with comprehensively improved general contracting capacity so as to strive to undertake more tobacco industry-related projects, realizing the development of Haisum and strengthening the growth of SinoLight.
During the visit and exchange, Guo and his delegation also went to Haisum Wuhan Company to conduct research and guidance, requesting the leaders and staff of Wuhan Company for brainstorming and unity to sort out their core competitiveness with care and think about the room for future development so as to solidly promote the high-quality development of the enterprise according to the requirements of the 14th Five-Year Plan.
